China Duty Free Group (CDFG), the world’s leading travel retailer [Source: The Moodie Davitt Report Top Travel Retailers] is to make a powerhouse appearance at the second China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo) to be held in Haikou.

CDFG said: “The Consumer Expo has become an important window for China to build a domestic and international dual circulation cycle and a dazzling business card to promote a higher level of opening up and attracting the attention of the world.  CDFG will organise representatives of more than 200 duty free shops to appear at the Expo.

“As the world’s largest travel retailer, CDFG looks forward to participating extensively and vigorously in the upcoming Hainan Expo，”CDFG adds. “We plan to make full use of the Expo’s platform to connect with global exhibitors and resources, and to bring top international brands to this important event. We will support the Expo’s many events and activities, including co-organising the 2nd edition of the Global Consumption Innovation & Duty Free and Travel Retail Conference, and serving as co-host of the Sustainable Consumption Summit. In addition, representatives from our purchasing teams and over 200 CDFG stores from around the world will also join the event and carry out discussions and business throughout the duration of the Expo.”
